am i being played?

i have this boy bud who i'm not sure if he's plain naive or playin' with me. its confusing.
he went to singapore 2 mos ago and everyone in class knew that he was leaving so naturally everyone asked for a little something from that trip, in this case a keychain. i asked for an elephant keychain but i know that aren't elephants in singapore so in short, i wasn't really expecting he'd get me anything. On the day he arrived from the trip, he apologized to everyone coz it was so expensive in singapore he didn't have any souvenirs for them. So just imagine what i felt when he came and softly said to me, "I'll give your souvenir later"
As it turned out, I was the only one he managed getting a souvenir- a keychain!
I wanted to believe so bad that he likes me somehow but his actions are totally different from the words he say.

I'm confused, i dont know what to think anymore. what do you think?
